TV Ratings: "7th Heaven" Goes Out With a Whimper
The forced 11th season of The CW's morality play "7th heaven" came to a disappointing close on Sunday night pulling in only 3,37 million viewers, a mere 45% of the audience that tuned into the "series finale" in May 2006.
ABC's "Desperate Housewives" led the night with 15,75 million viewers. The show is however down almost 6 million viewers from the same night one year ago. Wisteria Lane seems to have lost some Nielsen luster.
"Brothers & Sisters" concluded the night for ABC scoring an average 11,92 million. The drama appears to have a loyal following as it often scores the same ratings despite fluctuations in its lead-in "Desperate Housewives."
The two-hour "Survivor: Fiji" finale averaged 13,58 million down more than 3 million viewers from its May 2006 finale. The net however won the night in total viewers, while ABC was superior in the 18-49 demo.
Finally, over on FOX an all-new "Family Guy" (7,21 million) eclipsed an all-new episode of the veteran animated series "The Simpsons" (6,48 million.)

OMG!!!! Really low DH ratings!! D id the Survivor finale had some influence in the ratings erosion?? at this point, I don't think the season finale will make it to the 20 million mark.
