NBC Cancels "Studio 60", Plus 10 Other Shows
NBC has canceled "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip," the show that generated the strongest buzz at NBC Upfronts presentation last year. Also joining the drama in TV's dead zone are "Crossing Jordan," "Raines," "The Black Donnellys" and 7 other shows.
The Peacock network has also confirmed that reality series "The Real Wedding Crashers," "Identity," "Grease: You're The One I Want" and "Thank God You're Here" will not be returning to airwaves next season.
The cancellation of comedies "20 Good Years," "Andy Barker, P.I." and the Dana Delany-fronted abduction drama "Kidnapped" have already been announced earlier in the season.
Although a seventh cycle of Donald Trump's "The Apprentice" is not visible in the new NBC grid, it appears the show will return as a midseason replacement along with the drama "Lipstick Jungle" and comedy "The I.T. Crowd."
