Upfronts Mania Begins!
The TV industry event of the year is about to begin in New York City where TV networks unveil their new fall schedules to advertisers and we learn which on-the-bubble shows got canceled, which pilots got series orders and how it all fits in grids.
First to present their schedule is NBC (today at 3 p.m. EST in Radio City Music Hall), followed by ABC (Tuesday at 4 p.m. EST, Lincoln Center,) CBS (Wednesday at 2 p.m. EST at Carnegie Hall,) The CW (Thursday at 10:30 a.m. EST at Madison Square Garden) FOX (Thursday at 4 p.m. EST at New York City Center.)
My Network TV has decided not to participate in the Upfronts this year, but rather focus on trying to sell advertising space in more intimate meetings following a disastrous first year of broadcasting.
This is TELEVISIONISTA
Labels: ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, Pilots, Schedule, The CW, Upfronts
