I think you are too young to remember the original Bionic Woman, but there can be only one Jaime Sommers, that's Lindsay Wagner. What was great about her was her down to earth girl next door quality. She MADE that show, originally she was only supposed to be a guest star on the Six Million Dollar Man.
Michelle Ryan is no doubt a bombshell in the vein of Jessica Alba, and I know that is what NBC wants to lure in viewers. I have a bad feeling though that the original spirit Lindsay brought to the role is going to be lost.
Plus what an awful time period, going against Criminal Minds, possibly Private Practice and AI in the spring? They should have tagged it on to Heroes to give it a better shot.
