"Smallville" To Pull a Marissa?
Sweeps months (November, February and May) have become very dangerous on broadcast TV. This May it won't be any different as The CW gets ready to off a beloved face on its veteran series "Smallville."
The supposedly shocking storyline development was of course "leaked" to the media as E! Online reported that a fan favorite will be killed off in the sixth season finale of "Smallville" entitled "Phantom," which is scheduled to air Thursday, May 17.
According to the website, one of the major stars - Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, Allison Mack or Kristin Kreuk - will see their character meet an untimely end in a shocking plot twist.
Obviously, there is no drama without Clark and Lex, Now if Lana were to get killed off the writers would upset some die hard fans as such twist would go against the series of comics the drama was based upon.
That means Allison Mack's Chloe Sullivan, most definitely a fan favorite, may be the one to byte the dust in the episode as the character had only been conceived for the small screen version and, as we have recently found out, she is a meteor freak herself. And we do know what happens to those.
If that happens will the show lose steam in the seventh season and ultimately call it quits? When FOX's "The O.C." tried a shot-in-the-arm approach last year by killing off one of the core characters, Mischa Barton's Marissa Cooper, the move may have cost the teen drama millions of viewers that ultimately led to its cancellation earlier this year.
As for the official "Phantom" synopsis, Lana (Kristin Kreuk) tells Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) their marriage is over, and Clark (Tom Welling) goes after Lionel (John Glover) when he discovers the real reason Lana agreed to marry Lex.

Really, Chloe is the one character that is at least a bit interesting on Smallville.. If they kill her off... Well...why watch it if they do...
Please kill drama Lana off...
The only reason i watch Smallville sometimes is because of Chloe. I love her and hate the others. Killing her is stupid. I really hope they kill Lana.
The uniforms that the super soldiers of project 33.1/Project Ares will be wearing, are similar to the one worn by doomsday (the character that killed supeman in the comics) before he became all spikey and crazy lookin'. So There could be a possibility that the Wes Keenan character will become Doomsday and Kill Clark, who would be reincarnated later as he was in the books. You can see the uniforms in those comic book commercial breaks they take during Smallville.
