Lana Shot On Film Noir Style Episode of "Smallville" (Spoilers)
The CW has announced highlights for May sweeps including a special Film Noir episode of "Smallville" shot partially in black and white, in which Jimmy Olsen (Aaron Ashmore) sees what life in Smallville would have been like in the 1940s.
The dream sequence will take Jimmy back in time to a jazz night club across from "The Daily Planet" where he, Chloe and Clark work as reporters.
Paying homage to his "Superman" incarnation, Clark Kent will be portrayed as a bespectacled reporter by the day and an invincible crime fighter by night.
When Lana is shot, Clark races against time to find the culprit, while Chloe, Jimmy and Lois do a bit of snooping around of their own.
The episode will air on Thursday, May 3 at 8/7c, prior to a special episode of "Supernatural" (9/8c) also featuring a "what if" dream sequence. It's a "What If" Extravaganza on The CW! For more on that click on the link below.
