MARCIA CROSS EXPECTING TWINS

The beautiful and the amazing actress Marcia Cross, who plays control freak Bree Van De Kamp on ABC's sudsy drama "Desperate Housewives", has told E! Online via her publicist that she and her husband Tom Mahoney are expecting twins.

The creator and showrunner of ABC's juggernaut series Marc Cherry is already torn apart over whether to write Cross' real-life pregnancy into the show or not. Marcia has told Marc that she would be very happy if he did, but the writer has explained to the media it may be too hard to go back and rewrite the storylines already set for the rest of the season. But now that the word is out that the actress is expecting twins and may be even harder to conceal the pregnancy.

Marcia is due to give birth in April, just around the time of shooting the season finale episode.
