KATE TO CHOOSE BETWEEN JACK AND SAWYER

The executive producers of ABC's megahit "Lost" have confirmed in their video podcast on ABC.com this week that Kate (Evangeline Lilly) will choose between Jack (Matthew Fox) and Sawyer this season.

Speaking in their trademark humorous tone, Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof promised to please either the Jaters, the group of fans rooting for pairing of Jack and Kate, or Skaters, those who wish to see Kate hooked up with Sawyer. Josh Hallowey who plays Sawyer said he hoped it would be his character that Kate chooses, although he would probably end up "pissing her off down the road".

The producers have also said the show would address the origin of Jack's tattoos and reasons for Locke being in the wheelchair.

Later this season, the drama will explain what happened to Michael and Walt after they had been released by The Others and, in their words, it will be quite a compelling story.

Finally, the writing-producing team has confirmed that The Others are multifactional and we will be learning more about their origin and their history on the island.
