Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip then opened with solid 13,39 mil viewers, although behind the #1 show of the evening - CSI: Miami on CBS (17,21 mil viewers). The forensic drama did however lose over two million viewers in comparison with its 2005 season premiere.
The CBS comedy line-up was the close second posting its average levels, with the new comedy "The Class" kicking things off at 8pm with over 10 mil viewers.
Prison Break remained competitive despite stronger competition (9,43 mil), but FOX's other drama "Vanished" finished in the fourth place with 7,45 mil viewers.
Gone are the days of Monday Night Football on ABC where its reality line-up lost some considerable steam.
