The moment has arrived. A new television network is about to launch in America with the very first night of its prime-time programming.
The CW (which stands for CBS and Warner Brothers) kicks things off tonight at 8/7c with the repeat of what many believed would be the 7th Heaven Series Finale followed by The CW premiere special/launch party from Entertainment Tonight at Warner Brothers Studios in Burbank.
Apart from the two-hour America's Next Top Model: Season Premiere (Wednesday night at 8-10/7-9c) and WWE Friday Night Smackdown (Friday 8-10/7-9c) the network will be repeating season finales of shows it took over from The WB and UPN schedule all week long as it gradually phases in the new seasons in late September/early October.
Tomorrow night, The CW will repeat the Gilmore Girls' 6th season finale at 8/7c (followed by encore presentation of the EW launch party). Keep an eye on Televisionista for all upcoming CW air dates. To find your local CW affiliate, click here.
