New Anne Heche drama "Men In Trees" helped ABC win Friday night in households, total viewers and 18-49 demo. The new installment of the show won its time slot with 8,02 mil viewers. How will the drama fare against new episodes of CBS' "Close To Home" or NBC's "Las Vegas" next Friday?

Saturday traditionally belonged to FOX's reality line-up of COPS and America's Most Wanted (5,59 and 6,09 mil viewers respectively). College football game on CBS (Florida vs. Tennessee) beat the game on ABC (Nebraska vs. USC).

NBC's Sunday Night Football crushed the competition last night with over 14 mil viewers. CBS' The Amazing Race premiered to moderate ratings with about 10 mil viewers. The strongest links in the FOX cartoon line-up were Family Guy (9,33 mil) and The Simpsons at 8/7c (8,94 mil).
