TV Ratings: "Idol" Beats All Networks Combined
The highly-anticipated elimination of Sanjaya Malakar was a TV event that helped FOX's "American Idol" score 28,18 million viewers, almost 300,000 more than last week's edition beating all competing networks combined.
The timeslot premiere of NBC's comedy "Thank God You're Here" didn't generate any ratings to write home about, but it did manage to add almost a million viewers to last week's two-month high for "Friday Night Lights" (7,17 million).
Although "LOST" lost 170,000 viewers, it did win the timeslot (opposite CSI: NY and Medium repeats) with 11,75 million viewers and a strong victory in the crucial 18-49 demo.
Earlier in the evening time period premiere for "Notes from the Underbelly" at 8:30 retained most of the audience of its lead-in "According to Jim." Since Jim is on its last legs, is that enough for the rookie comedy to survive?

Did you have to use the Charlie getting archered clip?
Yes, I actually delayed this report until I got hold of that screencap. LOL...
I don't watch LOST, but is that an arrow in his neck and does he die from whatever it is?
LOL @ Jin's face in that screencap...
Yes, that is an arrow in his neck but [SPOILERS ALERT] he does not die because it is only a flash before the eyes of a character (Desmond) who can see bits and pieces of the future and he prevents it from happening.
I got pains just looking at that. I wonder exactly how Charlie will go. IF he does die(I think the creators might be throwing us an enourmous red herring) I think Smokey will kill him, thus the title of his next flashback episode, Greatest HITS. HITS reminds me of the way Eko died. And its not uncommon for two characters to die the same way in a season. Season 2's major deaths were the result of guns, Season 3's, might as well be Smokey.
