Jamie Bell Beats Jesse Metcalfe
Alcohol addiction battling star Jesse Metcalfe, formerly of ABC's "Desperate Housewives" is one British actor snatching a role from under his nose away from an unfortunate trend. First "Tudors" hunk Henry Cavill took over his role in the horror flick "Town Creek" and now Billy Elliot boy Jamie Bell...
...gets to replace Daniel Radcliffe in the attention-grabbing West End play Equus where he will be stripping off on stage come June. Metcalfe was rumored to be taking over the role, but The Daily Mail reported it would go instead to the 21-year old Newcastle born actor.
BAFTA Film Award winner Bell seemed to have faded into obscurity following his early career success. The new role should however generate lots of publicity as it will require him to perform a nude sex scene. The actor appears next in the fantasy thriller "Jumper" with Hayden Christenses and O.C. cutie Rachel Bilson.

I've followed Jamie Bell since he did Billie Elliot and I always knew he had what it takes if he continued with acting (over a dancing career).
Hmm, I'll have to go to UK someday. LoL :P
