Eva Longoria, Mario Lopez Announce ALMA Awards Nominations
"Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria and her good friend and "Dancing with the Stars" finalist Mario Lopez announced ALMA Awards nominations in Beverly Hills this morning. The actress is the host and the producer of this year's ceremony.
ALMA Awards celebrate artistic excellence through the outstanding achievements of Latinos in motion pictures, television, and music.
The program promotes diverse, accurate, and proportional portrayals of Latinos in the American media to a national prime-time television viewing audience in the United States.
This year's ceremony will be held (and taped) on June 1 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. The show will then air on June 5 on ABC.
