"Grey's Anatomy" Honored at GLAAD Media Awards
"Grey's Anatomy" stars Kate Walsh, Katherine Heigl, Sara Ramirez and T.R. Knight all appeared at GLAAD Media Awards last night while their show whose lead actor was accused of using a gay slur was given Outstanding Individual Episode award.
The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, an organization that monitors depictions of gays and lesbians in the media, awarded "Grey's Anatomy" for the November sweeps episode "Where the Boys Are."
Walsh who may star in her own spin off series "Private Practice" appeared with her rumored flame "Brothers & Sisters" star Dave Annable. The actress was sporting a banging new hairstyle.
The show of course got unwanted attention when its star Isaiah Washington used a homophobic expletive to address gay co-star T.R. Knight, an incident that led to T.R.'s coming out. Washington agreed to seek professional help in order to salvage his job.
