Jesse Metcalfe @ Watchman Premiere

Former "Desperate Housewives" hunk Jesse Metcalfe (and his eyebrows), who appeared in every season of the ABC dramedy, apart from the current one, made an appearance at the premiere of "Watchman" in Hollywood on Sunday night.


After his Wisteria Lane gardener character was reduced to a recurring status, the actor appears to have found work in straight to DVD horror genre.


Last November Metcalfe was in the entertainment news again after being hospitalized following a nasty tumble 40 feet from a balcony at an afterparty for the World Music Awards in Monaco.

Wisteria Lane's part-time gardener Jesse Metcalfe reared his bandana-covered head in Malibu this weekend. The young Hollywood actor known for his party-hardy ways is no longer sporting his chest hair that he had infamously exposed in a photo shoot on his My Space page earlier this year.


Metcalfe, who may or may not appear in the next season of ABC's "Desperate Housewives" (formerly a season 1 regular, he guest starred in each of the 3 subsequent seasons), appears next in the July 15 straight-to-DVD release titled "Insanitarium" about a doctor who is turning his patients into flesh-eating psychopath zombies.


You may think now the true zombie here is Jesse Metcalfe's career. The actor has however recently finished filming a remake of the 1956 film noir classic "Beyond a Reasonable Doubt" co-starring Hollywood heavyweight Michael Douglas. And if that doesn't work out, Gabby Solis may always get bored and give John Rowland another chance.

Smooth-chested and cougar-loving "Desperate Housewives" gardener Jesse Metcalfe is about to ditch his Hollywood Hills home he purchased in 2004, the year he began trimming Eva Longoria's bushes, for $1,075,000. The asking price? Just $1,495,000, as Sky Bar party boy is in a hurry to sell.

"Desperate" Gardener Blacklisted

MARCH 20, 2007: The delicious young man who trimmed Eva Longoria's bushes on the buzzworthy first season of ABC's "Desperate Housewives" may have gotten himself banned from the trendy Skybar at the Mondrian hotel in West Hollywood.

According to tabloid New York Post, Jesse Metcalfe who romanced sexy Gabrielle Solis one last time earlier this season on the hit series "was blacklisted" from the Mondrian after "partying for four days straight last week and being really mean to the staff."

The last straw allegedly came on Friday, when Metcalfe "blew up at the doorman at Skybar because they wouldn't let him in."


Metcalfe's obnoxious behavior resulted in him not getting a guest room on Saturday, although a hotel rep claims he has not been officially banned. A rep for Metcalfe had no comment.

Metcalfe, who made his final appearance on Housewives" in October, often appears in tabloids and gossip blogs because of his diva-like behavior.

He will next be seen in the film "Loaded" playing young, wealthy club kid whose life spirals downward into an out-of-control world of drugs, sex and violence.

MARCH 4, 2007: Jesse Metcalfe, former season 1 regular on ABC's "Desperate Housewives" who plays ex-gardener and gold-digger John Rowland, now a recurring character on ABC's dramedy, was snapped earlier this week showing off his muscled physique with girlfriend Nadine Coyle on a beach in Hawaii.

Nadine is a member of the gal band "Girls Aloud" and a frequent target of British and Australian tabloids which reported that she and Jesse had split up in late 2006. Proving the tabloids wrong and enjoying sun, sex and sand, the happy couple was "getting jiggy wit it" in these hot candids from Hawaii.

Since he's already on the island, perhaps ABC could cast him in a special guest starring role on the network's other hit series "LOST" and have him trim Sheriff Isabel's bushes in the picturesque town of Othersville? No? Just a thought.

They say Jesse Metcalfe got himself a tacky new tattoo of a female angel lassoing his bleeding heart. I can't really tell, because I personally find all tattoos a bit on the tacky side. No offense. I did however find several moments in this recent episode of TLC's "LA Ink" series somewhat cringe-worthy. Jesse, who the tattoo parlor girls refer to as "the best abs in Hollywood," appears at 7:45 and then again at 4:00 (countdown counter).

Jesse Metcalfe "Desperate" Again

Marc Cherry sure likes to decorate Wisteria Lane with that hot pair of buns called Jesse Metcalfe over and over again. Young Hollywood party animal was back on the set of "Desperate Housewives" this weekend filming scenes with Eva Longoria. Meanwhile, it was announced on Monday the actor was tapped to star in a Bollywood comedy.

Metcalfe's character John Rowland with whom Eva Longoria's Gabrielle Solis had a torrid affair in season 1, became a recurring character at the beginning of season 2 when Gabrielle kicked him out of her house.



He re-appeared in the 2nd season finale in a 2003 flashback revealing how sultry Gabrielle and her hot gardener hooked up in the first place.

Then last season, Gabrielle ran into John at a ritzy holiday resort (episode #3.03, "Weekend in the Country") where it was revealed John had become a golddigger and was about to marry a filthy rich Paris Hilton-type heiress.



"Days of Our Lives" actress Michelle Pierce was also back on the set playing heiress Tammy Sinclair, now supposedly John Rowland's wife.

Meanwhile, it was announced Metcalfe would play the leading man in Indian-American cross-cultural romantic comedy "The Other End of the Line" about an Indian call-center operative who travels to San Francisco to be with a man (Metcalfe) she has only met over the phone.

Filming begins mid October in Mumbai before moving to the U.S.

Who Wants to Massage Jesse Metcalfe's Ego?

Although former "Desperate Housewives" gardener Jesse Metcalfe (snapped above leaving Les Deux club in Hollywood last night) hasn't tended to Eva Longoria's bushes for over a year, British tabloids continue to obsess about the young actor who has traded his old squeaky-clean image for party-hearty lifestyle.


The tabloids speculate Metcalfe and his former girlfriend Nadine Coyle of Girls Aloud may have reunited, but that can hardly stop the young party animal from enjoying the company of these charming street walkers in front of Les Deux.



Metcalfe, who is playing a rich club kid whose life filled with sex and drugs spirals out of control in the upcoming flick "Loaded," is flying back to the UK next week to get some more ego massage at a meet-and-greet event in Manchester where ladies will be paying to get to sit and chat with him.

Nadine Coyle: Jesse Metcalfe Did Not Cheat

I think if we give Jesse Metcalfe enough time he may turn into a wacko of the Britney Spears caliber. What the frak happened to him? Was stealing that piece from Ali G's closet really necessary? His ex Nadine Coyle, however, has a lot nicer things to say about the circuit boy.


The "Girls Aloud" singer said on Irish talk show Saturday Night With Miriam, her ex Metcalfe was lovely and he was not cheating on her as suggested in the tabloids. Meanwhile, blogger Perez Hilton said Metcalfe approached him to tell him he was dreaming of murdering him. Hilton often ridicules Metcalfe on his blog.

Jesse Metcalfe Threatens Tabloid with Lawsuit

Former "Desperate Houseboy" Jesse Metcalfe has threatened In Touch magazine that he would sue the tabloid unless they offer retraction, correction, and apology following last week's piece entitled: "Has Jesse Fallen Off the Wagon?"

The actor who is known for his wild partying ways as much as for his well-plucked eyebrows insists he is not an alcoholic.

The letter Jesse's attorney Lavely & Singer sent Bauer Publishing magazine states that the article is "completely false, fabricated and defamatory" to their client depicting him in false light.

It suggested Jesse was drinking Heineken at a John Mayer concert on June 9 as well as Apple Martinis on May 31 at LA's Area nightclub.

According to the letter, Jesse has been sober since he checked into Promises rehabilitation center, a popular Hollywood rehab which is currently housing actress Lindsay Lohan.

Metcalfe ended up in rehab after a drunken binge at LA's Sky Bar in March where he is said to have verbally abused staff.

LG Mobile Phones threw a Mobile TV Party at Stage 14 of Paramount Studios on Tuesday celebrating the launch of their handset LG VX9400 capable of delivering TV programs with classic TV stars such as "Desperate Housewives" bad boy Jesse Metcalfe, "Beverly Hills 90210" minx Shannen Doherty and "Reunion" cutie Will Estes.


The party recreated themes from three classic TV shows, The Brady Bunch, Star Trek ("Heroes' star George Takei made a special appearance) and Happy Days. Christopher Knight (Peter Brady on 'The Brady Bunch') and Scott Baio (Chachi on 'Happy Days') also made an appearance.



Tabloid darling Jesse Metcalfe will next appear as a rich kid spiraling out of control in the world of drugs and sex in the upcoming feature "Loaded."

Former "Charmed" star Doherty has not worked since her 2005 FOX soap "North Shore" was canceled.

That same year, the network canceled Will Estes' time-tweaking drama "Reunion". The "American Dreams" actor has struggled to find new work and has guest starred on a "Law & Order" series twice.

It's Hard to Teach Jesse Metcalfe New Tricks

Party animal Jesse Metcalfe, who used to trim Eva Longoria's bushes on ABC's "Desperate Housewives," may have spent a month in a detox center, but that doesn't mean he forgot how to have some good ole hardcore fun.

As Page Six reported on Saturday, a spy at the Shore Club saw Metcalfe poolside last week chatting it up "with three married women from New York. Jesse spent the afternoon ordering drinks with the ladies . . . and then walked out on the tab."

Earlier that day, a different source revealed Metcalfe and his assistant threw a fit at the Hotel Catalina in Miami Beach.

"The assistant went right up to the reception desk and said, 'Let me see Jesse's room before I decide if Jesse is going to stay in this fucking hotel,' " claims an eyewitness who was in the lobby. "Everyone was staring."


Metcalfe and an entourage of "blond girls" were spotted at the nightclub Suite on Saturday, and he continued his partying Tuesday at Blue in the Delano.

On Friday Jesse was getting cozy with an unidentified woman in the VIP section of the Spirits Nightclub where he hosted the Friday night party at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood, Florida.

A week-long drunken bender landed Metcalfe in a rehab center back in March after eyewitnesses at Hollywood's Sky Bar at the Mondrian Hotel said Jesse's mean diva behavior got him blacklisted from the hot spot.

Former "Desperate Housewives" gardener Jesse Metcalfe, who appears to have broken British singer Nadine Coyle's heart, has put his recent rehab days behind, unveiled a sexy new summer look and gone back to his party-animal ways.

This past weekend Jesse was enjoying himself at SET and Suite in Miami Beach, FL, taking pictures with Big Brother vet Hardy Hill and Miami nightlife legend and club owner Mark Lehmkuhl.



The actor may be trying to imply (in that Red Bull shot) that he is staying away from booze as it has given him very bad reputation at Hollywood's Sky Bar where his behavior spiraled out of control earlier this year.



Ironically or not, in his next movie titled "Loaded" (opens November 1) Jesse plays a rich club kid whose life takes a downward spiral into a world of drugs, sex and violence.

Meanwhile, former girlfriend Nadine whom he said he was going to marry just days before he went into rehab has said to the British tabloids she prefers to focus on her career these days, because "money lasts longer than love."

Nadine Coyle Dumps Jesse Metcalfe

Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle has dumped her cheating boyfriend, former "Desperate Housewives" actor and recovering alcoholic Jesse Metcalfe, reports The Daily Mirror.

Metcalfe who recently completed his stay at an undisclosed rehab facility after a weekend-long drunken orgy at L.A.'s Sky Bar in March, was photographed with a mystery brunette last week, walking, hands locked together.

After the photos emerged in the tabloid press, Coyle said to the paper: "I'm not the kind of girl to put up with nonsense like that. I'll meet the right person when the time is right. I'm disappointed but what can you do."

Nadine who appeared with Metcalfe less than a month ago in an OK Magazine Hawaii beach photo feature and spoke of marrying Metcalfe in June tried to stand by her man through his booze battle, but found his infidelity too much to handle.
