"Grey's Anatomy" Spoilers: "The Other Side of This Life": Thatcher Grey to Attack His Daughter?

Earlier this week TV Guide revealed that the big 2-hour "Grey's Anatomy" spin-off episode "The Other Side of This Life" would not only focus on Addison Montgomery and her trip to Los Angeles, but all of our favorite characters, including Meredith Grey who is hit in the face by a male character close to her. Surely not Dr. McDreamy!

The network has now released the first promotional stills from the red-hot episode that seem to suggest the man in question may be Mer's father Thatcher with whom she had never been able to develop a proper relationship. Spoilers also suggest Meredith may be responsible for death of someone close to him.



Although ABC has also revealed Derek will question his relationship with Meredith, the picture of the couple taken from the episode seems to indicate they may find a way to resolve their differences. After all who better to console Mer after she experiences that intense confrontation with her father.

Will the relationship between the father and the daughter be destroyed forever?
