Are Justecca the New Gizzie?

A twist in an upcoming episode of ABC's "Brothers & Sisters" may send Rebecca (Emily Van Camp) into Justin's arms (the red-bearded Dave Annable).

According to casting sides for the first post-strike episode (titled "Separation Anxiety") Justin is by Rebecca's side when she arranges a DNA test in order to determine whether or not Holly's friend (Ken Olin) is her father.

Earlier this season, the viewers were led to question the paternity of Rebecca's late father William Walker which would open up new romantic possibilities for the character.

But will the writers dare take the obvious and increasingly sudsy route in their storytelling and abolish the family tie between Rebecca and Justin, that they worked so hard to establish last year?

Such twist with quasi-incestuous connotations could lead, according to some fans, to a disaster of Gizzistic proportions.

On the other hand, the characters played by Van Camp and Annable who are said to be dating in real life, have had a special bond and relied upon each other for support since the day they met.

Let us hope the producers of "Brothers & Sisters" know what they are doing. The show returns April 20 with 4 all-new episodes crammed with juicy developments. The 2nd season finale airs May 11. The show has already been renewed for a 3rd season.

Spoilers: Justin & Rebecca Heat Up ABC's "Brothers & Sisters"

Their relationship had been in the making since it was first rumored in the summer of 2007. This fall, Rebecca (Emily Van Camp) and Justin (Dave Annable) finally get to consummate their controversial relationship on ABC's "Brothers & Sisters."

Initially, the show's fans who followed rumors and spoilers witnessed what seemed like an accident in slow-motion.

Their fears of the alleged coupling of Justin and Rebecca, by way of unmaking Van Camp's character a Walker sibling, after all the trouble she went through coming to terms with her identity in season 1, slowly came true by the time the show reached climax of its strike-abbreviated 2nd season.

After all the boos and eeews and overemotional vows to stop watching the increasingly soapy show, some fans actually learned to enjoy the storyline, especially given Van Camp's moving performance.

Now, Justin and Rebecca try to hide their true feelings for each other, but secrets can't be kept for a long time in the Walker family, and theirs will come out as well. How will the family deal with it?

The twist may have been one of the reasons, the show's original creator Jon Robin Baitz expressed frustration with the direction of the series, which ultimately led to his departure. Time will tell if the viewers follow suit.

Personally, I couldn't care less how they got where they are now. I find them to be a really cute couple and I am eager to see what the future holds for Justin and Rebecca.

Dave Annable Is So Last Week

APRIL 25, 2007: Grey's Anatomy" star Kate Walsh has a new flame in her life and it is not Dave Annable. The actress who may star in her own ABC medical series in the fall was photographed last weekend enjoying the company of a blond male friend.

The actress who is obviously completely smitten by her friend met him for lunch at Mustard Seed Cafe in Los Angeles kicking her feet into his lap in between kisses.

Walsh has said in an interview to "Best Life Magazine" her career comes before relationships and she is still looking for that someone special.

"Brothers & Sisters" star Dave Annable was last time seen with Walsh a week earlier at the GLAAD Media Awards.

Dave Annable Dating Nadine Coyle

Or is he? British tabloids are reporting (and we know how reliable they are) "Brothers & Sisters" star Dave Annable is dating Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle, who unceremoniously dumped recurring "Desperate Housewives" actor Jesse Metcalfe, earlier this year.

The leggy singer who appears to have developed taste for ABC hunks bumped into Annable at a party in Los Angeles' hotspot Hyde last week. The tabloids claim the sexy actor sent flowers to Nadine's hotel room. Flattered by his attention, Coyle spent the rest of the week with Annable.

Earlier this year, Dave Annable who plays war veteran Justin Walker on the ABC sudser, was romantically linked to "Grey's Anatomy" star Kate Walsh as well as his "Brothers & Sisters" co-star Emily Van Camp. Could a long-distance relationship with the London-based singer work for the former "Reunion" stud better?

"Brothers & Sisters" Spoilers: Justin Returns from Iraq Physically Challenged

USA Today reports actor Dave Annable, whose character Justin Walker went to Iraq in the May season finale of ABC's "Brothers & Sisters," is coming back in the show's sophomore season, but his alter ego won't be coming back in quite the same condition.

When Justin rejoins his wine-loving and quarreling California family he will have to deal with serious physical issues. Although the drama creator Jon Robiz Baitz ruled out Justin coming back as an amputee, he would not fully reveal the new twist.

When the drama premiered in September 2006 Justin had already battled post-traumatic stress and turned to drugs as a result of his first experience of war, in Afghanistan. Will he go back to drugs to deal with the new challenge?

The politically-split Walker family often argues about the war in Iraq with liberal Democrat mom Nora (Sally Field) getting into constant arguments with her conservative Republican daughter Kitty (Calista Flockhart). The question is how will Justin's new condition reflect on that argument?

Justin may return blind, paralyzed or at least scarred. The condition itself, as well as the way he deals with it, may fuel the Iraq debate on each side. Will the constant bickering turn into a more serious conflict within the family? Will the Iraq war torn the Walker family apart?

Dave Annable Promotes "Brothers & Sisters" @ Monte Carlo TV Festival

The 2007 Monte Carlo TV Festival has just concluded generating a lot more buzz for the public appearance of Prince Albert of Monaco and athletic South African beauty Charlene Wittstock as well as the antics of Hugh Heffner's playmates. A number of small screen stars however tried to keep the focus on the actual TV programming, including "Brothers & Sisters" star Dave Annable seen here during a Wednesday photo call.

Annable's character Justin is said to be returning for a second season of ABC's hot family drama despite being shipped off to Iraq in the May season finale episode.

Earlier this year, the actor was linked to "Grey's Anatomy" star Kate Walsh, but more recently he has been rumored to be dating co-star Emily Van Camp.

In an interview for USA Today, Annable said: "[Kate] is a great lady; she's beautiful, so sweet and funny. We had a lot of fun. Clearly, we're just at two different points in our lives, but we're still good friends, and I wish her the best in her new relationship."

Dave recently bought a golf shop for his parents, Rod and Tammy Annable. "That was one of the things this amazing year allowed me to do," Annable says. "That's been a dream of my dad's."

Is Dave Annable Dating His On-Screen Sister?

Kate who? "Brothers & Sisters" star Dave Annable is said to have found a new girlfriend. As E! Online reports, the hunky actor is cozying up to his co-star and "Everwood" vet Emily Vancamp.

When images of Kate Walsh kissing an unknown blond man appeared all over the Internet last week, one was led to believe the star of ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" called it quits with the man she seemed to be dating since the Golden Globes.

Now insiders say Annable, 27, who was even rumored to be dating his on-screen mother Sally Field, 61, earlier this year before he was seen kissing Kate Walsh, 39, in public, has refocused on his on-screen sister, Emily Vancamp, 20.

If true, this would be the second time Emily, who plays the not-so-innocent Rebecca on ABC's must-see drama, is dating her on-screen brother.

Last year, the actress ended her long-term relationship with former "Everwood" co-star and "The O.C." cutie Chris Pratt, who played her brother on the WB show.

"Grey's Anatomy" Honored at GLAAD Media Awards

"Grey's Anatomy" stars Kate Walsh, Katherine Heigl, Sara Ramirez and T.R. Knight all appeared at GLAAD Media Awards last night while their show whose lead actor was accused of using a gay slur was given Outstanding Individual Episode award.

The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, an organization that monitors depictions of gays and lesbians in the media, awarded "Grey's Anatomy" for the November sweeps episode "Where the Boys Are."

Walsh who may star in her own spin off series "Private Practice" appeared with her rumored flame "Brothers & Sisters" star Dave Annable. The actress was sporting a banging new hairstyle.

The show of course got unwanted attention when its star Isaiah Washington used a homophobic expletive to address gay co-star T.R. Knight, an incident that led to T.R.'s coming out. Washington agreed to seek professional help in order to salvage his job.

Snapped: Kate Walsh & Her McYummy

Don't you just hate Kate Walsh? The woman has just landed her own spin-off show, she owns the most gorgeous home featured in Oprah Magazine, she gets to romance Patrick Dempsey and Eric Dane on-screen (well, she used to) and now, she's dating one of the hottest bachelors in Tinseltown.

I am of course only kidding and wishing Kate Walsh lots of success and moments to cherish with both her new series (although I am still not sure it is a good idea, but let's wait and see the execution) and the new man in her life, the star of ABC's family drama "Brothers & Sisters", Dave Annable.

The images you see in this post were taken back in February during a pre-Oscar Vanity Fair event. You may have seen them before, but since I saw them for the first time today I had to share them with you. Rumor has it of course these love birds have been seeing each other since January.

Will Dave Annable Leave "Brothers & Sisters"?

"Brothers & Sisters" star Dave Annable whose character Justin is headed for Afghanistan at the end of the season opened up to TV Guide about his role on the critically acclaimed drama and said he does not know if, how and when he's coming back.

Annable said the drama got a lot of unwarranted negative publicity last summer due to all behind-the-scenes changes, but he and the rest of the cast perceived them as a way to improve the product, not a sign of trouble on the set.

He said he loves taping those big family dinner scenes that the Walkers are known for because the cast are all very close, they have lots of fun together and they even miss each other when they are off the set.

Dave is not sure if the writers will go into the 'forbidden' territory of a closer relationship between Justin and his half-sister Rebecca (Emily VanCamp), but the two do seem to have a special bond.

Although he hasn't seen the script for the season finale yet, the actor believes his character will be going back to Afghanistan as the season closes and hopes the writers will find a way to bring him back or keep him on.

Annable believes all actors on the show are somewhat similar to the roles they are playing, apart from Matthew Rhys who is not homosexual in real life. He seems to play the role very well, though, as people often approach him in bars and ask if he is gay.

The actor did not want to elaborate on his relationship with Grey's Anatomy star Kate Walsh, but he did speak about his short-lived FOX drama "Reunion" where he played one of the three central male characters.

Annable believes the show failed to catch a following due to being scheduled before the baseball playoffs and being put on a month-long hiatus, never a good sign for a highly serialized format.

Finally, the hunky star of "Brothers & Sisters" said he was flattered by being called one of the sexiest male TV stars by TV Guide and after he becomes more comfortable with the idea he might make a T-shirt out of it wear it to bars.

Catch an all-new "Brothers & Sisters" this Sunday at 10/9c on ABC.

Dave Annable "Steals" Evangeline Lilly

He may be dating "Grey's Anatomy" star Kate Walsh, but "Brothers & Sisters" hunk Dave Annable tried to get away "stealing" a poster with the TV Guide cover of another ABC leading lady, LOST's beauty Evangeline Lilly.

Speaking at the recent TV Guide party celebrating the much publicized "Sexy" issue, Dave said he now gets a lot of ribbing on the set of his hit series.

Ever since he made it into the top 10 sexiest male TV celebrities, as voted by the magazine editors, Annable complains that if he screws up a line his co-stars joke: "Sexy guy forgot his line again!"

Sounds like a lot of fun on the "Brothers & Sisters" set.
