TV Ratings: "House" Retains 84% Of "Idol" Audience
FOX's medical drama has truly grown into a monster hit for the network. Last night's episode held on to over 84% of its lead-in audience ("American Idol", 31 million). This may again make the drama higher-rated than ABC's immensely popular "Grey's Anatomy".
The success of "House" (25,97 million) is even more exceptional given the fact that most of "American Idol" lead-outs manage to retain only half of "Idol's" gigantic audience.
The CBS drama "NCIS" was the night's third most watched show with 15,67 million viewers tuning in.
Veronica Mars added only 150,000 viewers from its last week disappointing series low to score 2,62 million.
In the battle of 10pm shows, Law & Order SVU was the winner with 12,95 million viewers.
