Wonder Woman Coming To CW's "Smallville"
Sources connected to Smallville have revealed that Linda Carter who played Wonder Woman on the vintage 70s action superhero series will make a special guest appearance on CW's young Superman drama on April 12 as Chloe's mom, Moira Sullivan.
This week, in an all-new episode of "Smallville" entitled "Freak" a young man named Tobias who was blinded in the second meteor shower, but left with a gift - the ability to sense other meteor-affected people - a kind of a "freak-dar" - is being used by Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) to locate people with abilities in order to experiment on them.
Lana (Kristin Kreuk) finds out about Tobias' gift, and fearing he will name Clark as one infected, offers him a cornea transplant in exchange for his silence. However, she is not prepared for Tobias' shocking news.
The episode which was directed by Michael Rosenbaum (Lex) may give us reasons for the arrival of Chloe's mom in April.
Carter will appear in the episode entitled "Progeny" (#18) which airs April 12 and will include a flashback into Chloe's past as an 11-year old girl. Do not expect to see Gabe Sullivan, though.
Next week, The CW will repeat this year's pivotal episode "Justice League."
