"Desperate Housewives" Spoilers #315: "The Little Things You Do Together": An Episode Of Epic Proportions!
Welcome to Wisteria Lane's very own pizzeria "Scavo" and do bear in mind what you may not have noticed amid all earthquakes, ferryboat fires and escapes from islands - something really huge is about to happen on "Desperate Housewives" and who better to tackle that challenging writing task than the "Bang" episode writer Joe Keenan and series creator Marc Cherry himself.
For the very first time in the three-year run of "Desperate Housewives" an episode was ended with a prime-time soap opera classic tagline "To Be Continued" and rightfully so, as the events that are about to unfold are not only worthy of February sweeps, but the end of a season, as well.
Not to worry, though. Despite having to accelerate this year's story lines and end the Monique Polier mystery several weeks prematurely, the writing team is about to unleash another 8 or so Edie-centric episodes, starting with a Rex Van De Kamp narrated hour, told from a male perspective in March.
The most obvious cliffhanger to be resolved is of course what happens to Orson and Bree? Now, if you have seen my earlier post you will now Orson survives his fall and gets to reveal his family's sinister past and the events that led to Monique's murder. Look for soap vet Carl Mueller to appear in flashbacks as Orson's abusive father Edwin.
This episode is absolutely huge on several fronts: the mystery will be resolved, Marcia Cross (Bree Hodge) will have her final scene prior to temporary departure from the show, we finally learn whether the spoiler about Susan and Ian breaking up was only a foiler or not, Zach's storyline with Gaby wraps up (and many of us are really grateful for that one) and finally, someone "meets untimely fate".
Will it be Orson after all? Or does Gloria kill Alma as some spoilers have indicated? It could also be Alma's unborn child as she is rumored to have a miscarriage in the episode. Or even the delicious villain Andrew Van De Kamp who was seen falling down the stairs in the previews.
Whoever it is, mark your calendars - "Desperate Housewives" on February 18 will be absolutely unbelievable. You don't want to miss this one!
