"Ugly Betty" Returns January 4

ABC has released promotional images from the next new episode of their hit Thursday night comedy "Ugly Betty". The episode "Swag" airs on January 4, 2007.

In the episode, Christine announces she's getting ready to clean out the closet, Modes repository of high fashion clothes and accessories, so the assistants whip themselves into a Star Jones-type frenzy over who will get the cast-off swag.




But Betty is too busy to even think about this perk: A $20,000 expense report she filed for Daniel has been rejected and his credit card cut off.

That will make it impossible for him to wine and dine an important Japanese designer, Oshi (guest star Kurando Mitsutake). Watch out for his hilarious gay assistant.

Meanwhile, Betty's dad's HMO has suspended his insurance. All that and more when "Betty" returns, January 4, at 8/7c, before an all-new Grey's Anatomy.
