"Absolut Hunk" Joins "Brothers & Sisters"
Jason Lewis, male model and actor best known for bed-hopping with Kim Cattrall on "Sex and the City", is joining ABC's drama "Brothers and Sisters" as a love interest for now-single Kevin (Matthew Rhys).
As TV Guide reports, Lewis was cast as a closeted soap-opera actor whom Kevin Walker meets at an exercise boot camp.
According to current plans, and as our reader and avid "Brothers and Sisters" fan KC has written in an earlier post, Lewis' character Chad will only appear in four consecutive episodes starting in January 2007 with episode #12 and stretching into February sweeps.
Kevin is then supposed to meet a more serious love interest who will play a significant role in his life for the rest of the season. That would imply soap actor's closeted lifestyle may play a part in the inevitable break up with Kevin.
The producers have not disclosed who will play the new boyfriend, but there is strong indication that they already have someone specific in their mind for the role. The scripts for those episodes have yet to be finalized.
