LOST Shocker: "The Others" Put Jack Into Cage
In an exclusive "Lost Moment" that aired during "Day Break" last night, ABC has given us the first indication on how the November 8 cliff-hanger of LOST will be resolved - Jack's attempt to escape will not be successful and "The Others" will put him into the cage where they had kept Kate and Sawyer. Their fate remains unknown.
The last time we visited the LOST island, Jack had sabotaged the spine-tumor-removal surgery he was performing on Ben in order to blackmail The Others into letting Kate run away.
Originally, according to a LOST podcast, Jack had said to Kate to take Sawyer and run away, but his concern for the man who seems to have won in the battle for Kate's heart was later edited out from the final version of the episode.
As the intensive cliff-hanger concludes, Pickett is still pointing his gun at Sawyer; and Kate, who had found out they are on a different island and may not even be able to escape, is torn apart not knowing whether to listen to Jack and try to run or not.
Last night, ABC revealed that Jack will end up being thrown into the outside cage where The Others had kept Kate and Sawyer. He wakes up realizing he is being watched by a group of people and he recognizes Cindy, the flight attendant who had spoken to him in the pilot episode, before the Oceanic Flight 815 crashed.
Cindy seems to have joined The Others. Jack asks her how The Others had gotten her and she replies it is not that simple. When Jack angrily asks her what she is doing there, she tells him that she is there to watch. At that point, Jack snaps and shouts that if she has got something to watch, to go and watch it.
The producers of the drama have already revealed the missing flight attendant would return in episode #8. This episode is supposed to contain a major twist and it will finally reveal why The Others are so desperately obsessed with abduction of children. Fertility doctor Juliet may have a thing or two to say about that.
