"Bad Clark" To Return For Sweeps "Smallville" Stunt
ABC Family will air a marathon of "Smallville" episodes tracing the origins of the superhero on December 29. Meanwhile, TV Guide reports The CW is about to film a huge sweeps episode that once again pulls out the "Red Kryptonite = Bad Clark" card.
Last night the young superhero drama got beaten in the ratings battle by FOX's struggling sitcom "Till Death" pulling in only 4,48 million viewers for an all-new installment. The producers are however preparing a huge sweeps stunt that should drive those numbers up.
In the action-packed episode #13 entitled "Crimson" Clark gets once again infected with the red Kryptonite and goes on a massive kissing spree. Among his victims? Lois and Lana. One of the two will get to fly with the superhero. There will also be a twist concerning Lana's pregnancy. Martian Manhunter also returns in this episode.
In the meantime, ABC Family is preparing for a new season of "Smallville" (the show's fifth on the basic cable network) with a special marathon of episodes tracing back the origins of Superman. The marathon that begins at 11am ET/PT on December 29, ends with the original Superman Movie starring the late Christopher Reeve.
Here is the list of ABC Family Smallville Marathon episodes:
11am PILOT (A meteor shower reeks havoc on the town of Smallville and brings with it a small boy who is taken in by Martha and Jonathan Kent)
12pm ROSETTA (Determined to discover his origins, Clark visits Dr. Virgil Swann (Christopher Reeve) who possesses a message for Clark from his home planet)
1pm EXODUS (In the second season finale Clark makes an astonishing discovery about his origins and faces the choice of his lifetime)
2pm RELIC (Lana discovers a picture of her great-aunts suspected killer and it looks exactly like Clark-- only her great-aunt was murdered 40 years before)
3pm LEGACY (Jonathan begins acting strangely and Clark believes his Kryptonian father, Jor-El is responsible. (Guest star Christopher Reeve))
4pm MEMORIA (Clark is forced into an experimental program that helps regain memories and he witnesses some of his earliest moments in life)
5pm COVENANT (A beautiful girl claiming to be from Krypton arrives in Smallville and forces Jonathan to tell Clark about the deal he struck with Jor-El)
6pm CRUSADE (Clark returns to Smallville from being in a phantom zone, possessed by his Kryptonian alter-ego Kal-El)
7pm COMMENCEMENT (Clark discovers the reason he was sent to Earth and goes to the caves to seek answers from his father, Jor-El)
8pm SUPERMAN: The Movie
