A Gay Friendly Isaiah
Actor Isaiah Washington has taken a lot of heat in the past month for a homophobic slur that he allegedly used during the infamous on-set scuffle with co-star Patrick Dempsey. Since then, the star has issued an apology to his colleagues and kept a low profile (he canceled his appearance on the Ellen Degeneres show due to 'a change in his production schedule').
But the time has come to do some serious damage control and a happy and relaxed Isaiah appeared with co-star Kate Walsh to announce People's Choice Awards in Beverly Hills last week. Taking that PR stunt a step further, the star was posing for the photographers, all smiles, touching the arm of Neil Patrick Harris, the freshly outed gay star of CBS's "How I Met Your Mother". That means Isaiah Washington is not a homophobe. Seriously.

He's afraid the rumors that ABC is looking to replace him are true, and now that he's been caught he's trying any last-ditch effort to save his bigoted butt.
Touching some gay person's arm (and WHEN did Harris come out, huh?) doesn't mean jack and you know it.

This post was written to ridicule Isaiah Washington's transparent damage control practices.
I will be more clear in my disgust with the actor's homophobic behavior in future posts.
