The O.C. Inches Up
The TV ratings analysts are screaming at the Newport gang to start packing their trendy bags, but The O.C. has once again managed to gain viewers adding almost 200,000 people in its third airing this season. The low-rated drama is still in deep trouble - the ratings are hideous, but they have added viewers in each of the two installments this week following last week's disastrous season premiere. Take a look:
Thursday, November 2: 3,38 million
Wednesday, November 8: 3,53 million
Thursday, November 9, 3,71 million
Killing off Mischa Barton's annoying Marissa may have been too much to bear for her loyal fan base, but the simple fact of the matter is - the show is better than it has been in a very long time and we can only hope the old fans rediscover how cool Orange County is.
Unfortunately, the network has yet to announce whether it will give The O.C. another chance on Wednesday night, now that ABC's "Lost" is out of the way. For the time being, the next episode "The Metamorphosis" is scheduled to air on Thursday, November 16 at 9/8c in the drama's regular timeslot.

I think the show can grow on Wednesdays. But FOX will shoot themselves in the foot and keep it opposite Grey's Anatomy.
I Think it was suicide to air it on the same day as greys, wensday is good, but I think the OC needs a new character, specifically a hot guy to add to the mix
I still don't get why FOX ever moved the show to Thursdays. It went into decline the moment it was moved. And then when they changed it to 9pm, it was like finishing it off.
