Dr. McSteamy's Trashy B-Flick

He may be sizzling up TV screens all across America with his womanizing ways as television's hottest plastic surgeon Dr. Mark "McSteamy" Sloan on ABC's "Grey's Anatomy", but Eric Dane and his enviable physique are known across Europe these days courtesy of an aqua-phobic sequel to a trashy B-theatrical that will go straight to DVD in the US.

"Open Water 2" premiered earlier this year in the UK, Germany and other European markets with disastrous reviews. Filmed in Malta, the movie follows a group of high school friends who get together and party on a luxurious yacht.

The party goes terribly wrong when they forget to let the ladder down after they jump into the ocean for a swim. As the boat with a sleeping baby proves impossible to climb, they are stuck in the water miles from shore. The exhaustion of trying to keep afloat and the struggle to get back on the ship take a terrible toll.
