Lilly Clashes With Ted On Christmas "Mother"
CBS has announced its holiday-themed line-up featuring some of the greatest Christmas classics (Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman), special programming (The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show featuring the performance of Justin Timberlake) and Christmas episodes of some of your favorite shows, including a Christmas party gone very much wrong on an all-new "How I Met your Mother".
In the episode airing December 11, Ted's (Josh Radnor) lingering resentment towards Lily (Alyson Hannigan) results in him calling her the worst name imaginable and the gang's Christmas is nearly ruined.
Last year the sitcom celebrated Halloween, Thanksgiving and New Year. This year's Christmas episode will be followed by a special holiday-themed edition of the Charlie Sheen comedy "Two and a Half Men".
Other Christmas highlights for the network will include the premiere of Will Ferrell theatrical "Elf", the 29th Annual Kennedy Center Honors and the rebroadcast of "A Very Married Christmas", starring Joe Mantegna and Jean Smart.
