"STUDIO 60" TAKES A HIT
For the second week in a row NBC's highly touted Aaron Sorkin drama "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" starring Matthew Perry of Friends took a dive in the ratings. After the solid premiere two weeks ago (13 million viewers), the series dipped almost 20% last week, losing another million last night to end at a little over 9 million.
If the trend continues NBC will have no alternative but to look for another timeslot for this expensive series on its schedule.
Elsewhere, CBS's comedy The Class and FOX's drama "Vanieshed" continue to disappoint, while for some strange reason people still want to watch NBC's suitcase game show as over 13 million folks tuned into "Deal Or No Deal".
The most watched program of the evening was once again CBS's blockbuster hit CSI:Miami (17,35 mil).
