PRISON BREAK SHOCKER: TWEENER SHOT DEAD
Two down, six to go.
In a stunning conclusion to the final episode of "Prison Break" before the baseball playoffs hiatus, the pill-popping manic special agent Alexander Mahoney (William Fichtner) brutally kills the character many of Prison Break fans only began to like in the past few weeks - Tweener (Lane Garrison).
Contrary to what viewers expected at the end of last week's episode, Tweener did not let the other inmates down and although many have thought he would die in a shoot-out, he is taken on a bogus trip by Mahoney only to be brutally shot and killed. Mahoney then plants the gun in his hand and takes more pills to calm down.
In other developments, Sara Tancredi's father was also killed in what appears to be a staged suicide. One of the episode highlights was the magnificent performance by Wentworth Miller (Michael Scoffield) as he said goodbye to his brother who was off to meet his misteriously acquitted son LJ.
Some Prison Break reruns may air in the upcoming weeks (if baseball is pre-empted), but the next all-new episode is expected on October 23.
