PLAYOFFS BEGIN, FOX SHOWS ON HIATUS
The 2006 Major League Baseball postseason Divisional Series is here and FOX will air games in HD throughout the month of October. That means your favorite FOX shows will be on hiatus for the rest of the month and return for November sweeps. Tonight, FOX will air the final episodes of its Monday night dramas "Prison Break" and "Vanished" before the mini-hiatus. Then the baseball begins on Tuesday. If a game is pre-empted, FOX will air repeats instead.
An early look at FOX's rerun line-up for October reveals that, in addition to such blockbuster hits as The Simpsons, House and Prison Break, FOX will also re-air episodes of its new legal drama "Justice", opting to pre-empt "Vanished" and "Standoff".
This may of course be the first indication that there is still strong faith in "Justice", whereas if "Vanished" and "Standoff" continue to lose viewers on weekly basis as they have in recent weeks, cancellation will ensue promptly.
