RARE NBC WIN

Monday is the night when NBC's ratings spike up and yesterday was no exception. The network won the night in the 18-49 category courtesy of its blockbuster game show "Deal or no Deal" (over 15 million viewers) and sci-fi hit drama "Heroes" (14,3 million viewers), the latter matching its highest ratings ever and becoming the top new show of the week.

Then at 10pm the TV industry drama "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" once again managed to lose a great deal of that lead-in audience although it did go up a notch in the 18-49 catagory as opposed to last week's episode. The drama will be pre-empted next week, at which point we may find out if NBC will keep it in the timeslot during the sweeps or move it somewhere else.

CSI: Miami remains the top show of the night.
