LOCKE CLEANS UP HIS OWN MESS
The first time I saw last week's episode of LOST I seriously thought I would refer to my beloved mystery drama using that horrible expression containing the word 'shark'. But it was only after lots of messing with my TiVo replay button that I realized just how excpetional "Further Instructions" was. Now ABC, which is still being painfully stingy about the images from this week's episode, has released some amazing photos from the brilliant airport hallucination scene.
It all starts with Locke going into a 'sweat lodge' to speak to the island. He takes a hallucinogenic drug that results in a vision of Boone. The deceased man takes Locke on a dreamlike journey through an airport lounge where we see all the familiar faces. Locke is, however, once again confined to his wheelchair.
Boone reveals to Locke that someone at this airport is in serious danger and only he can help them. When bewildered Locke points to Charlie, Claire and little Aaron, Boone says they will be fine. That is, for a while.
Sayid's got the feuding Sun and Jin. It is not Hurley who is seen punching the dreaded numbers into a check-in terminal.
In a scene taken from "Catch Me If You Can", Desmond is seen as a pilot in a group of gorgeous flight attendants. Boone explains he is helping himself.
Finally, Locke spots Jack, Kate and Sawyer, the latter two being amused by one another. Jack is being examined by security guard Henry Gale a.k.a. Benjamin Linus. Boone warns Locke there is nothing he can do for them as yet, as he needs to clean up his own mess first and take care of Eko who is in iminent danger.
Locke wakes up.
We all know what happend then. But as it is always the case with LOST, new questions have arisen now. How soon will Charlie, Claire and little Aaron be in danger then? Was Desmond's ability to help himself in Locke's dream a reflection of his newly revealed psychic abilities? And what will John do to salvage John, Kate and Sawyer?
By the way, Freckles was being very cousy with James in that dream, while Jack stood away. Does that mean the Skaters have won? The writers have been leading us into that direction for over three weeks now. Jaters settle down. Because I smell a rat.

It's a "sweat lodge," not a "smoke lodge."
Of course it is. Thanks for the correction.
