"ALIAS" STAR BELIEVES IN
"BROTHERS AND SISTERS"
"BROTHERS AND SISTERS"
Ron Rifkin, the star of ABC's globe-trotting hi-tech spy drama "Alias" which concluded its five-year run last May, has returned to small screen on Disney's network in the new drama "Brothers and Sisters" airing Sunday nights after "Desperate Housewives".
The pilot of the series got a lot of negative exposure in the media during the summer for all the behind-the-scenes drama that ended with leading actress Betty Buckley being replaced with Sally Field, Calista Flockhart's gay brother also being recast, one of the executives leaving the show over creative differences and much of the original episode being reshot.
Despite all the bru-ha-ha, the actor who plays Uncle Saul firmly believes that "Brothers and Sisters" is a quality character-driven drama and he is happy to be on board. The show premiered to over 16 million viewers last Sunday making it the highest rated new show last week.
Tonight, the reading of William Walker's will threatens to cause a rift in the family on an all-new episode "An Act of Will" at 10/9c.
