"STUDIO 60" STAR MARRIES

The star of NBC's hot new Monday night drama "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip", Amanda Peet married her fiance, "Troy" screenwriter David Benioff in New York on Saturday.

The actress who plays a charming yet uncompromising TV network president on the Aaron Sorkin-penned series was in the news earlier last month when a publicist announced her pregnancy.

Peet, who starred in box office hits "Something's Gotta Give" and "The Whole Nine Yards", originally met the 36-year old Benioff on a blind date set up by friends. The couple married at the Quaker school.
