"LOST" TO TAKE A 13-WEEK BREAK
ABC announced Tuesday the return date for "Lost" which is going on a three-month hiatus following its 'fall finale' on November 8. The network will bring back the mystery drama on February 7 (starting with a Juliet flashback pictured above) and then run the series for 16 weeks uninterrupted. Some analysts believe that if Taye Diggs new series "Day Break" which will fill the Wednesday at 9/8c slot over 13 weeks tanks, ABC may bring the island drama even earlier.
ABC has also said they would cancel Friday night reality series "Extreme Makeover". The original version of the series premiered last Friday, but the ratings were so low that the network made a decision to axe the series after only one airing. Charlie Brown Halloween special will air this week and as of November ABC will bring back "Grey's Anatomy" repeats. They have proved to be a more suitable and stronger lead-in for the struggling Anne Heche series "Men In Trees".
