ROUND 2: GRISSOM PUNCHES McDREAMY BACK
Ratings for Thursday, September 29, 2006

The juiciest battle for prime-time supremacy continued last night as old fox CBS reclaimed its Thursday night crown. McDreamy and the gang did score 16.1/24 in the overnights (vs. CSI's 15.3/22). However, the forensic investigators were stronger in total viewers (23.49 mil vs. Grey's 23.31 mil) and CBS was the most watched network of the night.

Elsewhere, the premiere of "Ugly Betty" was anything but ugly at 8pm scoring 16,09 mil viewers and causing a huge dent in the ratings for NBC's comedies. ER and Shark battled neck to neck at 10pm, but JJ Ambrams' new show "Six Degrees" dipped in comparison to pilot numbers and continued to lose steam as over 3 million viewers reached for remote by 10:30.
