CHEVY CHASE TO PULL
A MEL GIBSON ON NBC

The Peacock network is insisting that their upcoming November 3rd episode of the long-running drama "Law & Order" has nothing to do with the drunken antics that landed the man originally known as Mel
Columcille Gerard Gibson in hot water all over the world.

In the episode entitled "In Vino Veritas" or "In Wine There Is Truth", which has begun filming this week, Chevy Chase guest stars as a TV celebrity who is pulled over by the police for drunken driving. The man will be wearing blood-soaked clothes and indulging in a tirade of religious insults.

The Saturday Night Live veteran recently returned to mainstream movie-making in the Tim Allen summer-flick "Zoom" (also starring
"Friends" star Courtney Cox) which bombed at the box office following disastrous critical reviews.
