BOONE IS BACK ON LOST

Ian Somerhalder is returning to Lost.

The actor who stars in a new mini-series "Marco Polo" in which he plays the famous explorer is scheduled to re-appear on Lost on the October 11 episode entitled "Further Instructions".

Although being killed off in late season one, Somerhalder was back on "Lost" last season in a flashback sequence about his sister Shannon (Maggie Grace).

After Shannon was killed off herself, some fans had given up on hope of seeing Somerhalder back on the show. Now it seems he may be linked to another character.

The second episode of the third season will focus on what happened to Locke, Desmond and Eko following the explosion at the hatch.

The season premiere episode which airs a week earlier focuses on the fate of Jack, Kate and Sawyer and gives the viewers more insight into the mysterious Others.
