TV Ratings: Thursday (1/24/08)
How well did "Celebrity Apprentice" do sandwiched around the last 2 new episodes of "Chuck"? What about Gene Simmons and the last new episode of "Ugly Betty" or what may have been the series finale of "Big Shots"?
ABC's "Ugly Betty" hit a season low of just 8.92 million viewers. The final installment of "Big Shots" was however the biggest loser of the night with fewer than 5 million people tuning in.
A repeat of CSI was the most watched show of the evening ruined by the writers' strike. Over on NBC, Donald Trump's reality show once again won the night among adults 18-49.
The return of "Chuck" didn't do too well on NBC, as the show scored figures well below its season average. Some "Chuck" fans may not even have realized 2 all-new episodes of the show aired last night.
Finally, it seems reality is the way to go for FOX. A day after "Moment of Truth" broke season records, the Jeff Foxworthy game show remained very competitive doubling the network's ratings from one year ago.
