TV Ratings: "Heroes" Recover (11/12/07)
Although NBC's "Heroes" is still about 30% weaker than one year ago, the sci-fi drama managed to go back up to over 11 million viewers on Monday night with a much-hyped sweeps episode that went back in time to explain the events that took place after the first season finale.
After reaching season-high last Monday, "Prison Break" fell to its average season 3 levels scoring 7.19 million viewers. Because of the writers' strike, this was the final episode of the show in 2007. Hopefully all of these viewers will be back when the show returns January 14.
ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" was the night's top show helping Christina Applegate's freshman sitcom "Samantha Who" retain its "TV's #1 Comedy" title in its 5th week. Will Samantha stay on top after conclusion of the current "Dancing" cycle? We should find out in about 3 weeks. 4 episodes will air without the mega-lead-in.
