"Desperate Housewives" On Strike!
It has been a week since the production on ABC's "Desperate Housewives" shut down. Earlier today, the cast once again joined the series creator Marc Cherry and his fellow writers to express their support for the strike which threatens to cripple the TV industry.
"We've become a close family with all our writers, especially Marc (Cherry)," James Denton who plays Wisteria Lane's fresh drug addict Mike Delfino said. "We're all in the same boat. We're all fighting the same battle."
His sultry co-star, Nicollette Sheridan, had stronger words for the studios and networks.
"I think the companies are clinging to the past," she said. "No matter who is striking, they have to do the fair and right thing, and they are not willing to listen or negotiate."
