"As the World Turns" Gay Kiss (VIDEO)
AUGUST 17, 2007: Now that was hot! Daytime went gaytime as television history was made earlier today on CBS' "As the World Turns" when Van Hansis and Jake Silbermann became the first two male actors to share a gay kiss on a broadcast network daytime soap opera.
It all began when Noah's father, a man of military background, came for a visit and tried to persuade his son to join the Army and become "a proper man."
Can the old man sense his son could be gay? After all, when Noah introduced Maddie as his girlfriend, the father thought he was pretending to please him.
As Noah, being ever-so-adorable, struggled to put on a tie in a rush to meet his father and girlfriend for lunch, Luke stops by to give a helping hand.
And boy, did he help! As Luke rushed to get Noah a tie and they cut to a different scene my poor little heart went boo-boom ba-bam as I knew the moment had arrived. And here is how it all went down.
Kudos to "As the World Turns" for going where no daytime soap opera had gone before, as well as the actors who managed to project genuine passion.

That is SOOOOO hot, but if he outs Noah right after that kiss like the previews suggest, that would be completely scummy!
