"Desperate Househusbands"
AUGUST 14, 2007: No, not the movie. LOL... ABC's "Desperate Housewives" has found its first gay couple who are moving to Wisteria Lane this fall and surprise, surprise they're not Robbie Williams and David Beckham.
That was of course an idiotic rumor that I chose to ignore a couple of weeks ago when it surfaced courtesy of a couple of let-us-not-name-them websites following the news about gays moving to Fairview originally reported by AfterElton.com.
Now E! Online confirms Marc Cherry and the producers of the gay-friendliest TV network in America, that's ABC if you've lived under a rock, have found the two actors to portray the happy couple.
Both Tuc Watkins (left, One Life to Live) and Kevin Rahm (right, Judging Amy) have played gay roles in the past and should not have any trouble coming across as a couple.
Watkins plays Bob, who prefers greener and quieter suburbs to big city stress (little does he know), while Rahm plays Lee, his bitchy partner who gets into conflict with Susan from the get-go.
Bob and Lee will be recurring characters on "Desperate Housewives."
The new season premieres September 30, the gay couple are expected to first appear in late October.

i loved kevin in judging amy and i cant wait till he has the bitch fest with susan. that should be so much fun to watch.
WHOOPEE!! (i know, very old school but i think warranted).
The great thing is that both have played gay extensively before, so both have no problems when it comes to what is needed to get the role done.
Having Kevin Rahm, who is straight in real life, playing the bitchier of the gay couple is hilarious, and I'm sure he can pull it off flawlessly. And Tuc Watkins, the openly gay actor, playing the more straight-laced of the gay couple is priceless. He always has a sense of charm about him.
