Lindsay Lohan has now been sober for 30 days. The actress who recently got out of the Promises rehab center to celebrate her 21st birthday at a beach house bash, celebrated the 4th of July with a group of friends on Wednesday.




Funnyman Jim Carrey and his love Jenny McCartney were snapped while walking down a beach in Malibu on Tuesday. Carrey will star in Robert Zemeckis' upcoming version of "A Christmas Carol" as Ebenezer Scrooge.



Actress Liz Hurley took part in the MacMillan Dog Day in London on Tuesday. Hurley came under fire in Britain after dressing her son in a pink bikini, a part of campaign for Liz's swimwear range for kids. Tabloid "News of the World" said Hurley was thoughtlessly humiliating the five-year-old as well as exploiting him for financial gain.



Former Mrs. Cruise, Nicole Kidman is shooting a new $120 million film in Darwin, Australia called - "Australia". The film co-starring Hugh Jackman was being shot in Faraway Downs, in a remote region of Western Australia, until severe storms hit the set and the whole production was forced to shift to Sydney due to heavy flooding. The crew will now shoot interior scenes until the sets dry out.



"Grey's Anatomy" star Katherine Heigl who was one of the first celebrities in Hollywood to get herself an I-Phone (Lindsay Lohan was also snapped carrying one) is putting finishing touches on her movie "27 Dresses." The actress who spent the summer hiatus working while her "Grey's Anatomy" co-stars were taking holidays and enjoying themselves trekking across the world, returns to the medical drama next week.


Australian-born pop-diva Kylie Minogue who is working on her new album in London, UK will be joining the cast of the BBC sci-fi saga "Doctor Who" later this year, for a special Christmas episode.

This will be the first child for the Grammy-winning singer and her husband Jordan Bratman whom she married in 2005. Meanwhile, TMZ reported Nicole Richie is also expecting her first child and is planning to marry her boyfriend Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden, this summer.
