"Smallville" Has Found Its Supergirl
Canadian actress Laura Vandervoort has joined the cast of The CW's veteran drama "Smallville" in the coveted role as Kara/Supergirl, who will have a major presence in the show's upcoming seventh season and will be introduced in the season premiere.
The 22-year old actress is known to the fans of The N's "Instant Star" as Sadie. "We've wanted a character to shake things up," series creator Al Gough tells People. "She may be Clark Kent's cousin, but that doesn't mean she's going to be the obedient one!"
