ABC Cancels "Brian," "Nine" & 10 More
ABC has confirmed the cancellation of failed dramas "The Nine," "Six Degrees," "Day Break," "What About Brian" as well as 5 comedies and 3 reality programs.
The comedies getting the axe are "George Lopez," "Big Day," "Help Me Help You," "In Case of Emergency," and "The Knights of Prosperity."
The canceled reality programs include the original "Extreme Makeover" series which had been in its fourth season as well as freshman programs "Show Me the Money" and "The Great American Dream Vote."
Only one of the comedies which was launched this season, "Notes from the Underbelly" will be returning for a second season.
ABC was more successful in the drama development - rookie hits "Ugly Betty," "Brothers & Sisters," "Men in Trees" and "October Road" are all coming back.
ABC President Steve McPherson has said to the reporters that the network is continuing talks with the producers of "According to Jim," and that show may still return.

Jim is a great show, but I think its done. With its leading lady wanting out, I think the show decided to end it when this season started. Since Jim doesn't get the best ratings, I don't see why ABC would object. I have been a big Jim fan since the beginning but in today's day and age, 6 seasons is quite good.
