TV Ratings: "Veronica Mars" Hits New Season Low
Bad new for fans of CW's "Veronica Mars". Losing over quarter of a million viewers, the college detective drama scored a meager 2,47 million viewers hitting a new season low. "American Idol" on the other hand gained almost 2 million and posted 33.08 million in total viewers.
Idol's lead-out House did lose almost 3 million viewers from last week's episode, but still managed to score 24,95 million viewers which should give the drama a higher position than "Grey's Anatomy" or "Desperate Housewives" in the weekly Nielsen charts.
In the battle of 10pm dramas, NBC's reliable franchise series "Law & Order: SVU" proved those recently inflated salaries for the show's stars Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni was money well spent - the drama won the timeslot with almost 14 million viewers.
