Tom Welling Directs Shocking Smallville Smooch
90210 star Tori Spelling makes a special "freak-of-the-week" appearance on an all-new "Smallville" next week on The CW Thursday and it is the man in the green suit who gets to direct her. No, not Justin Hartley, but rather Mr. Smallville himself, Tom Welling. Confused?
In the episode entitled "Hydro" we finally get to see the scene that Internet spoiler gurus have been raving about for months - Clark kisses Lois Lane (Erica Durance).
The twist is, she doesn't know whom she is kissing, as Clark is disguised as Justin Hartley's Season 6 breakout vigilante - The Green Arrow.
Needless to say, feisty Lois is not happy to see her boyfriend, also known as Lex's nemesis and billionaire Oliver Queen (whom she believed she was kissing) watching the whole scene.
Now, when we left off the soapy storylines in late November (say we skipped the filler "Subterranean" episode which aired in December), Lex popped the question, and Lana went mum.
Well, in this fun episode, Lana confesses to Chloe she has reservations about marrying Lex due to her lingering feelings for Clark.
The Daily Planet gossip columnist, Linda Lake (Tori Spelling), runs a story detailing their exact conversation.
Determined to prove she didn't give the story to Lake, Chloe investigates her fellow co-worker and discovers she has the ability to turn herself into water and uses it to secretly overhear conversations for her column.
Meanwhile, Lois begins to suspect Oliver is the Green Arrow and enlists Clark's help to prove it. As obvious from the photos, Oliver will get to keep his secret identity, but will Lois ever find out she was kissing Clark?
The episode airs on Thursday, January 11 at 8 PM on The CW. The following week, the network will air the huge "Justice League" episode that reunites past heroes Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Green Arrow.
Last week the network repeated the Flash and the Cyborg episode; in this week's double "Smallville" feature (Thursday, January 4, 8-10pm, The CW) we get to see how Clark met Aquaman (8pm) and then The Green Arrow (9pm).
Also, as of today, you can watch Smallville on ABC Family every day.
